LabelCo makes MPS/Rotocontrol investment

Rotocon has signed a two-fold contract with Zimbabwean printer LabelCo for both MPS and Rotocontrol machines, which will be the first flexo press and slitter rewinder from the manufacturers heading for the African country.

The order, confirmed at Labelexpo Europe 2015, includes an 8-color, 430mm-wide MPS EF multi-substrate flexo press built with an automation package including job memory. Features of the press are GEW UV drying, die-cutting, cold foiling unit, film to film lamination option and Vetaphone Corona treatment.

A Rotocontrol RSC slitter rewinder features 100 percent servo motor control, cartridge slitting system, vertical inspection zone, automatic tension control, strobocope and an additional splice table.
