Labelexpo Americas expecting strong growth

2014 marks the 25th anniversary of Labelexpo Americas, and is set to coincide with a growth in the exhibition’s footprint from 185,000 sq ft in 2012 to 194,000 sq ft. Currently over 95 percent of the total exhibition floor has already been sold.

Returning to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Chicago, between September 9-11, Labelexpo Americas will feature over 400 exhibitors including 62 that are exhibiting for the first time. Many big name exhibitors have also significantly increased their presence at the event.

HP Indigo is to be Labelexpo Americas’ largest show exhibitor, taking a booth that covers 8,500 sq ft – one of the biggest ever exhibition stand sizes in the show’s history. HP Indigo will use the exhibition to showcase its portfolio of end-to-end systems for label, folding carton and flexible packaging printing and converting.

Yogev Barak, director of current business at HP Indigo, said: ‘Labelexpo Americas is a strategic platform to interact with customers, partners and brands in the key segments of labels, folding cartons and flexible packaging.’

Other exhibitors who have enlarged their booths include AB Graphic International, Epson, Karlville Development and Screen USA.

Lisa Milburn, managing director of the Labelexpo Global Series, said: ‘Labelexpo Americas is undeniably a key vehicle and highlight of the year for our exhibitors.

‘Enabling them to tap into the rapid growth opportunities offered by this resilient specialist and niche market sector, there is nowhere better to allow them to launch and demonstrate new products and network with high quality, influential visitors. Comprising the latest industry developments alongside the newest technological innovations and solutions, Labelexpo Americas 2014 will again be the most compelling event on the label and package printing sector’s calendar.’
