Labels and packaging suppliers claim prizes in 2015 EDP Awards
Hardware suppliers to the label and package printing industry have taken home a number of prizes from this year’s EDP Awards program, which honors the best developments in print production tools, software developments, substrates, inks, materials and finishing systems.
Awards have been presented in 20 categories, including ‘Best Special Application Solution’ and ‘Best Wide Format Textile Printer’, with awards for presses used for heavy and light production.
HP Indigo claimed the ‘Best Packaging Solution’ award for its 20000 digital press, while the Highcon Euclid II+ has been named ‘Best Sheet-fed Off-line Finishing System’.
Xeikon’s Cheetah claimed the ‘Best Label Printing Solution’ prize.
EDP Awards are presented by the European Digital Press Association, an association formed in the mid-2000s to serve as a forum for the continent's digital printing industry.
