Mark Andy has teamed up with Tamarack Products to create a new RFID research and demonstration center.  The center is located at the Tamarack facility in Wauconda, Illinois.  A new Mark Andy Model 2200, equipped with the Tamarack P500 RFID module, is now available for demonstration of RFID tag insertion in-line with complete label printing production.  Visitors will be able to learn and understand the full process of smart label production.
“From consumer packaging to warehousing to managing enormous amounts of manufacturing components to tracking authentic pharmaceuticals, RFID promises to be a large part of the world’s future. Mark Andy is taking the necessary steps to be a leading solution provider,” states Ken Daming, Director of Product Management for Mark Andy.  “Building strategic partnerships is one of the building blocks Mark Andy has been focusing on as the flexo industry continues to evolve.”
Tamarack’s P500 RFID affixing module affixes all transponder sizes, operates at speeds up to 500 ft/min of the label web and is operator-friendly.
