Mark Andy extends install base in Romania with two sales

Both printers are existing Mark Andy customers. Inovalabel, which began life as Geba Color back in 1997, started with a number of used Comco Cadet and Mark Andy 2200 presses. It acquired its first new press, an 8-color Mark Andy XP5000 in 2005. A Performance Series P5 followed in 2012, and since then, two new P3 machines have been installed in 2014 and 2016. All are 8-color lines and have the 250mm web width.

Sunimprof-Rottaprint started production with a used Mark Andy in the early 1990s. Investment in new technology started with another manufacturer, but in 2005, the company decided to switch to Mark Andy and purchased a 280mm 8-color Mark Andy LP3000 line, fitted with UV curing. In 2012 the company added an 8-color Performance Series P5, but this time with a 330mm web width, and most recently has agreed to purchase another 8-color 330mm P5, which is due to be installed in June.

The sales were handled by Graphic Open Systems (GOS), Mark Andy’s local agent. Speaking for GOS, Sebastian Boureanu said: ‘We have built excellent working relationships with both of these customers who have come to rely on Mark Andy’s technology and service support to grow their businesses.
