McDowell not joining Flint Group

Daniel F McDowell will not be taking up the position of president, global packaging and narrow web, as had been previously announced, says Flint Group. 

‘Dan has asked us to state on his behalf that he sincerely regrets that he will not be able to take up the position of president, global packaging and narrow web, for personal and family reasons,’ said the company in a statement. ‘After a sabbatical leave, he will be returning to the USA to pursue other interests outside of the printing inks industry, and wishes Flint Group continued success in the future.’ 

Antoine Fady, chief executive officer, Flint Group, said: ‘Whilst this is obviously disappointing news, I am confident that the packaging and narrow web leadership team will continue the strong development of our packaging business and further build on the positive momentum that they have generated.’
