Menges Roller to mark 50 Years of business in 2016

Menges Roller Company is marking 50 years in business this year, with current president Matt Menges, ‘seeing a bright future ahead’.

Menges Roller was found in 1966

Menges Roller, operating out of Wauconda, Illinois, was founded in 1966 by Louis J. Menges, who has since passed, as a rubber covering company. It has since expanded into core fabrication, and forged a reputation as an engineer and designer of precision rollers.

The company is currently led by Matt Menges, president and son of the company’s founder. ‘I look back on my time with my dad, and I have great memories of some hard times but good times. I am proud to continue what he started and to keep the company in the family.’

In the last 50 years, Menges Roller has served the converting, packaging, plastics, steel processing, paperboard and non-woven industries, locally, nationally and internationally. The company has recorded steady growth over the years and looks forward to the challenges ahead. ‘The economy is a little up in the air right now and has impacted manufacturing globally, but our diversity across different industries has been a big key for us,’ said Charlie Menges, director of sales and marketing.

‘We are in a great position moving forward to continue to provide quality products efficiently and on-time,’ added Garrett Rausch, director of engineering and manufacturing at Menges Roller.

‘I see a bright future ahead,’ concluded Matt Menges.
