MPS to officially open new headquarters in Arnhem

Dutch press manufacturer MPS is to official open its new headquarters in Arnhem on May 29, with partners and suppliers invited to attend a tour of the building and see its EF multi-substrate and EB flexo presses.

Located near its current headquarters in Didam, the building in Arnhem with modern facilities will centralize MPS’s manufacturing and operations

Located near its current headquarters in Didam, the building in Arnhem with modern facilities will centralize MPS’s manufacturing and operations, and offers a spacious demonstration, test and customer experience center to run ongoing demos of MPS press technology.

To maximize efficiency, the new assembly hall is completely equipped with LED technology and the ventilation system is built with regulated valves to prevent loss of air in the hall. Incorporating principles of lean production that reduce lead time provides MPS the ability to build an increased number of presses simultaneously in multiple assembly lines.

MPS director Bert van den Brink said: ‘Sustainability is one of the most important reasons we moved our headquarters from Didam to Arnhem. We needed a new building to accommodate all of our employees under one roof, and also provide expanded demo and test facilities for our customers. With our new location, the ideal environment has been created. We look forward to celebrating this milestone together with our customers, partners and suppliers.’

The opening ceremony during the afternoon of May 29 will include two ‘spectacular opening activities’, MPS said, and presentation of its EF and EB presses, followed by a networking reception with drinks and snacks.

Guests wishing to attend the official opening are invited to register here.

The move has taken place at the same time as a comprehensive rebranding campaign designed to solidify MPS’s strategic international growth plan, which has included substantial growth in North America.
