New labels create premium look for luxury male grooming brand

Royston Labels has created new labels for luxury male grooming brand Truefitt & Hill, designed to enhance its premium look and update the appearance of its traditional range.

The labels were produced by using a synthetic substrate onto which Truefitt & Hill’s dual red brand colors were printed using UV flexo, coupled with fine detailed gold cold foiling

The labels were produced by using a synthetic substrate onto which Truefitt & Hill’s dual red brand colors were printed using UV flexo. Fine detailed gold cold foiling under a soft touch laminate provides a matte effect, which together with a high-build silkscreen varnish completed the embellishment.

‘By pushing the boundaries of what is possible with cold foiling, we managed to achieve a superior level of fine detailing in the labels,’ commented Royston Labels technical manager Phil Bradnam. ‘We are very pleased with the end result which adds extra depth and quality to the packaging.’

Established in London in 1805, Truefitt & Hill is the oldest barbershop in existence. Today it provides grooming products and services to gentlemen across the world. It has operations in locations from North America to Southeast Asia.

Truefitt & Hill’s Katie Broughton said: ‘We felt that it was time to update the look of our current labels to enhance the premium feel, which Truefitt & Hill is world renown for. We wanted to emphasize the appearance of our traditional range, whilst retaining the company’s corporate heritage consistent with our reputation for upholding the great British tradition of class, elegance and sophistication.

‘Having discussed options with Royston Labels, what really impressed us was the huge range of materials and variety of effects it offered.

‘The journey to the finished solution was a good experience and we particularly love the look and feel of the soft touch laminate and detailed cold foiling. We’ve had some great feedback on the label which is very positive.’
