Omet goes wider with 17in-wide XFlex X4

Italian press manufacturer Omet has used Labelexpo Americas 2014 to demonstrate a wider version of is established XFlex X4 press.

Marco Calcagni, Omet sales and marketing director, said the new web width provides maximum efficiency for the label and packaging market.

A 17in-wide variant was on the show floor at Labelexpo Americas 2014.

Calcagni said more than 100 versions of the 14in-wide XFlex X4 have already been installed worldwide, with the wider version to now be pushed into the market.
