Pantec hosts brand protection event

Pantec GS Systems has hosted a brand event at its headquarters in Kradolf, Switzerland, where the latest developments in its Swift in-line foil saving series were presented.

Attendees were shown the upgraded functionality of Swift during live demonstrations where 20 holograms per second were inseted on each foil stream

Swift is a foil saving system built on a rail that reduces foil consumption to a fraction, but designed not to reduce production speed.

The latest technology of the Swift in-line foil saving series includes hologram patch insetting.

Attendees were shown the upgraded functionality of Swift during live demonstrations where 20 holograms per second were inseted on each foil stream.

Peter Frei, chief executive officer of Pantec GS Systems, said: ‘The increasing market demands make us push the boundaries.

‘The increasing wish to embellish with premium foil, while simultaneously reducing waste and cost, is challenging. Our latest offering of Swift enables printers to take advantage of expensive, highly attractive foils, without increasing cost. Now, even mass application of hologram patches is very efficient.’
