Ricoh Thermal Media launches new products into the Indian market

Ricoh Thermal Media Asia Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese company Ricoh, has launched special resin and high scratch resistance wax/resin ribbons in India.

Responsible for thermal media and related business in Mumbai, Ricoh Thermal Media Asia Pacific is introducing its well-known international grade of resin ribbon B120HS in India. It is a high sensitivity ribbon which can be used for high speed printing of up to 10 impressions per second (IPS). B120HS also offers high scratch, chemical and heat resistance.
 
The company also launched B110CX resin to cater to the high price sensitive market of India. B110CX offers high heat resistance of up to 220 degrees C along with chemical, solvent and scratch resistance. Coating on the back of B110CX allows reliable matching qualities with the thermal head. 
 
Another addition is of wax/resin grade B118B to support Ricoh’s worldwide benchmark product B110A. B118B has been developed for high scratch and heat resistance.
 
Ricoh develops, manufactures and markets durable, high-value-added thermal paper and thermal transfer ribbons mainly used for barcodes which have earned a high share of the thermal media markets worldwide.
