Ben Barker of the Parr Motorsport team took the lead during the final lap of this 62-car event to win the race. The race was held at Le Mans ahead of the famous 24-hour endurance race.

The 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain is a multi-event, one-make motor racing championship held across England, France and Scotland. A total of 19 races are being held across 10 meetings, concluding on October 12. The Le Mans race, the seventh of 19, featuring drivers from France and the UK, concluded prior to the start of the main event at Le Mans on June 14.

RK Print Coat Instruments had its logo featured on the side panel of the car, as well as on the front of Barker’s helmet.

RK Print Coat Instruments managing director Tom Kerchiss said: ‘In terms of sponsorship this was very much a last minute decision on our part. As a company we have never been involved in sponsorship, let alone motor racing but it has certainly paid off.

‘The RK logo was highly visible on the side panel of the car and on the front of Ben’s helmet and we were pleased to support Ben and proud to be involved in this on-the-edge-of-your-seat venture.’
