Secura Labels delivers new labels for Asian condiment brand

Secura Labels, a UK manufacturer of self-adhesive labels, has helped Asian condiment brand Hot Chiu update its packaging to paper labels using an over-laminate from its existing PE offering.

The total run for Hot Chiu was of 6,000 labels split over four variants

Hot Chiu approached Secura Labels after encountering issues with its previous labels and following a recommendation. Working to a tight deadline, Secura Labels was able to use its expertise to diagnose some of the issues being encountered and offer an alternative. This included paper labels to offer a cost-saving to the existing PE labels being used, with an over-laminate to provide print protection. Running 'mixed working' plates produced in-house meant Secura Labels could further reduce costs through origination.

The end result was produced on Secura Labels’ 6-color Nilpeter F240 using Herma semi-gloss paper with a gloss clear laminate. The total run was of 6,000 labels split over four variants.
