Smartrac, Lab ID and Temera join forces to enhance IoT in high fashion and luxury markets

The companies will jointly develop and offer a broad portfolio of IoT options to digitize every single branded product and manage it, from production through the supply chain to the point of sale and on into post-sale consumer usage. This will enable the ‘ultimate digital end-to-end transformation’ for brands and retailers.

Italy’s Lab ID is a provider of highly customized and encoded labels specially designed for the needs of individual customers from the high fashion and luxury industry segments. Lab ID and Smartrac will support Temera jointly in projects as required. Temera, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Florence, supports businesses through the development of RFID applications and innovative technologies. Temera provides services in response to a strong need to resolve issues related to the optimization of logistics and production processes, anti-counterfeiting, customer experience and store processes. The company has successfully managed projects for high-end brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi and Versace.

By leveraging Smartrac’s enablement platform, Smart Cosmos, Temera will market Smartrac’s IoT technologies, and accelerate its expertise in the areas of production management and logistics for the high fashion and luxury industries, both in Italy and abroad.
