Spinnaker Coating currently has approval on 10 facestocks, which translates to just over 60 constructions – all available Trimless with a single roll, 3in x 5,000ft minimum. Labelstocks tested and approved on the Truepress Jet L350UV model include Semi Gloss Paper, 2mm TC Clear BOPP, 2.3mm TC White BOPP, 2mm Bright Silver Metallized BOPP and Holographic Rainbow PET.

Joel Ulrich, digital market manager, at Spinnaker Coating, said: ‘Because of the importance of the growing digital market in the label industry, we are focusing on our partnerships with digital press OEMs so that we can have an in-depth understanding of the equipment, the digital process, and the requirements for digital labelstock. All of these things help us to be an educated resource for our customers as they navigate through their digital journey.

‘As we continue to grow our digital portfolio, we are excited to build this partnership with Screen Americas.’

Screen Americas uses Spinnaker material as their main labelstock for their press demonstrations, and Ken Ingram, vice president of sales at Screen Americas, said: ‘Our customers tell us they chose the L350 because they couldn’t compromise on image quality, reliability or speed and we know it only makes sense that they won’t compromise on labelstocks either. Spinnaker Coating’s commitment to quality construction and selection of materials, finishes and sizes gives our L350 customers the ability to meet the demanding requirements of the short-run and print-on-demand label market.’
