Sun Chemical opens Latin American color centers

Sun Chemical has opened six color centers across Latin America to reinforce its commitment to customers in the region.

The new Sun Chemcial color centers are located in San Salvador (El Salvador), Mexico City (Mexico), Cali (Colombia), Lima (Peru), São Paulo (Brazil) and Santiago (Chile)

The color centers are located in San Salvador (El Salvador), Mexico City (Mexico), Cali (Colombia), Lima (Peru), São Paulo (Brazil) and Santiago (Chile).

The color centers are designed to train customers about Sun Chemical’s color services in its SunColorBox tool kit, which includes a customer site audit, color management proposal and a color audit which digitally measures and captures a customer’s palette. Some of the tools in the SunColorBox program include: SunDigiProof, which provides on-site, on demand color accurate proofs; SunDigiGuide, which offers a digital color standards book to help accurate communicate color to partners; SunMatch to enable full digital color communication between the ink supply and customer network to multiple locations; and PantoneLIVE, the communication tool that can be used to ensure accurate brand owner colors for the entire packaging supply chain on any substrate.

Sun Chemical said the color centers will build the foundation for customers in the region to implement a digitally color managed workflow.

‘Many of our customers in Latin America are looking to implement a digitally color managed workflow to ensure brand color accuracy from multiple locations,’ said Fernando Tavara, president of Sun Chemical Latin America. ‘Our new color centers and SunColorBox team can be a real difference maker in helping our Latin American packaging customers take color consistency to the next level.’
