Tarsus signs up to next charity challenge

Employees from Tarsus, the parent company of Labels & Labeling and Labelexpo Global Series, have signed up to take part in Tough Mudder, the next challenge as part of the company’s support for the Events for Namuwongo charity.

Tough Mudder is a series of obstacle races designed by British Special Forces to 'challenge the toughest of the tough'. The UK-based team of 13 will take part in the Tough Mudder obstacle course at the end of August.. The 12-mile course is designed to test camaraderie, physical strength and mental determination. Those to take part from Tarsus include Alexa Rhode-Hilbert from the Labelexpo Global Series organizing team, Hannah Whitnall from the marketing department, events and publishing coordinator Vikki Carney, and Adam Evans, Carol Houghton and Mat Rossetter from the Labels & Labeling and Labelepo design and production studio.

Events for Namuwongo is a partnership of companies and individuals from the events industry to support the sanitary development of a slum community in Uganda.

Previous challenges undertaken by Events for Namuwongo include the Three Peaks Challenge, London to Paris bike ride and a cycle to the summit of Mont Ventoux.
