Tectonic reports successful Labelexpo Americas

Tectonic International, a UK-based manufacturer of inspection systems and plate mounting machines, reported ‘significant success’ at Labelexpo Americas.  

‘Our range of Flexico V5 plate and sleeve mounting machines sold like hot cakes, with so many companies appreciating the clever patented “hands free” design of the V5 which can be manufactured to suit one or several presses,’ explained director Gavin Jones. ‘When it comes to technology, it is out with the old and in with the new, particularly when “the new” substantially improves speed, dramatically improves quality and significantly reduces the cost of production.’ 

The Flexico V5 plate-mounting machine provides hands-free mounting of plates using a ‘rotating’ rise and fall plate table and a holding clamp so that the printer does not have to hold the plate in his hands throughout the mounting process.   

The company also showed its K2colour-check, a low-cost system which includes color-monitoring through the algorithms developed for the company’s Jaguar print inspection system.
