TLMI names new chairman

Jeff Dunphy, Design Label president and chief executive officer, has stepped down as chairman of TLMI, with Dan Muenzer, vice-president of Constantia Flexibles Label Division, taking up the role with immediate effect.

TLMI, the premier association for the label and package printing industries, is confident in the transition.

In mid-January 2015 Design Label, located in East Lyme, Connecticut, finalized the sale of specific assets to Smyth Companies, based in St. Paul, Minnesota. This includes equipment and customer lists.

Dunphy will continue his career in the industry at Smyth Companies by helping guide the business forward on its targeted growth path. He was awarded TLMI Converter of the Year in 2013.

John Hickey, Smyth Companies chief executive officer, said: ‘I think very highly of Jeff, and we are very excited about working together.’
