UNI Packaging delivers pouches in record time

European flexible packaging specialist UNI Packaging has delivered pouches for food manufacturer Olives Et Al in just seven days from receipt of artwork, with its Digiflex service facilitating the rapid turnaround.

UNI Packaging delivered 400 sample pouches featuring eight designs for Olives Et Al in seven days

Olives Et Al required 400 pouches featuring eight designs in time for the Farm Shop & Deli Show 2016 in the UK. The show ran April 18-20, and UNI Packaging took receipt of the supporting artwork on April 8 with a delivery date of April 15.

UNI Packaging’s Digiflex offering is powered by HP Indigo 20000 digital presses. The company offers a host of other services, which enabled it to manufacture and supply the pouches to be used for displaying Olives Et Al samples at the show.

UNI Packaging’s Matt Baldock said: ‘We often talk of creating added-value for our customers, but to turn around a preformed pouch in seven days is nothing short of a miracle. We enabled Olives Et Al to showcase its new products on the company’s stand at the show and to introduce the offering to the trade press and retailers.’

Simon Hurley, Olives Et Al managing director, said: ‘UNI Packaging was not only effective at delivering amazing results, ahead of schedule, it also made the process stress-free. It delivered on our requirement in a very short time frame, and the pouches produced for us proved to be show stoppers, literally, helping to create much interest in the products at the show.’
