Unistar Label Products gets a 12-color flexo press

This combination press includes two aqueous coaters, four offset printing stations, one gravure unit and three flexo printing units.

S N Patel, owner of Patel Enterprises, said: ‘The customer wanted the capability to cater to a wide gamut of jobs in the market so he opted for this press. It was installed 10 weeks ago and has not been idle for even 10 hours.’

The company also exported three presses to Africa and sold two combination presses in India last year. He said: ‘The Indian market has more demand of specialized machines than markets overseas. However, it is challenging to sell a press once the price crosses Rs 1 crore (about 165,000 USD).’
