Both Vela and Enprom are packaging, converting and labeling specialists. Vela has a strong presence in the market of air bubble and foam converting, and also offers machines for the production of shrink sleeves, stretch sleeves and in-mold labels.

Enprom Packaging offers a wide range of machines related to converting, including slitters, unwinders, rewinders, sheeters, die-cutting machines, and those for embossing and punching. It also offers hardware for chemical and printing processes, such as lamination and coating tools, solvent recovery systems, and flexo and rotogravure printing units.

At the start of 2015, Vela and Enprom moved to a new facility in Sant Julià de Ramis, Girona.

‘Through this new strategic partnership the two companies will be strengthened, joining efforts and synergies, in order to make available the best quality and service for all their projects and provide the best solution to customer needs,’ Vela and Enprom explained in a joint statement.

‘This new strategic alliance will strengthen both companies, combining efforts and synergies in order to increase competitiveness by offering better solutions tailored to the needs of our customers.

‘With this action the two companies will strengthen the ties with our customers and work with a wider range of products and technologies.’
