Vinsak reports success at Gulf Print & Pack

Vinsak has reported strong interest in its LVPI monochrome inkjet system for variable data printing (VDP) of labels and films at Gulf Print & Pack 2015, with a model running prints live on its stand.

LVPI is a VDP and inspection machine that offers a variety of options in inkjet printing, UV curing and inspection. It also includes a quick make-ready scissor slitting unit with knife separation and lateral adjustment.

Applications for this machine includes security printing, label and flexible package printing, coding on pre-registered and die cut labels, frequently changing text, graphics, numbers, 1D and 2D codes, ingredient information, track and trace codes and production data.

Ranesh Bajaj, Vinsak director, said the company sold two units on the first day of Gulf Print & Pack, including one two Saudi Arabia, with lots of interest from across the MENA region.

Also on its stand, Vinsak is showing a new cheque personalization unit on its stand, which offers 24-hour performance with throughput of up to 800 checks per minute.

‘This show is allowing us to open up new markets as it allows us access to the whole region. For example, we have generated leads in North Africa,’ added Bajaj.
