Wausau to open distribution facility in Australia

Wausau Coated will provide a variety of pressure-sensitive roll products including wine grades, films and specialty substrates optimized for use on HP Indigo digital presses. The  facility will add slitting, warehousing and distribution capacity, allowing Wausau Coated to provide shorter lead times and reduced costs to label converters in Australia and New Zealand.

It's our goal to become to the preferred choice for specialty label materials and applications.’

Joe D’Antini will lead the company’s sales operations in the region as the newly appointed regional sales manager for Oceania.

D’Antini joins Wausau Coated Products with an extensive background in the pressure-sensitive industry including experience in operations, product management and sales with UPM Raflatac’s operations in the region.
