Webtech Engineering demonstrates new version of FlexoMaster UV press

features of the press include a die-cutting unit, delam/relam, sheeter, rewinder, cold foil and turn bar. The press also comes with an option of adding a hot foil unit, offset printing station, screen printing unit and chill rollers for printing unsupported films, and the option of hot air drying.

Kishore Kumar, general manager of marketing at Webtech Engineering, said: ‘The press can print on substrates ranging from 20 microns to 300gsm. It is therefore capable of printing on labelstock, pouches and cartons.’

For the show, Webtech Engineering has partnered with UV Ray for UV lamps, Avery Dennison for labelstock and Fuji Sericol for inks.

Kumar said: ‘This press has a certain degree of automation but requires a skilled operator to run it.’

The company has sold five presses in this financial year – two have been installed at Gopsons in Mumbai, one in Bengaluru and two have been imported to Nigeria. Webtech Engineering is looking at installing five more presses by the end of current financial year.
