York Label has won first place in two categories at the 2010 World Label Association Awards.

The winners of the World Label Association Awards are chosen from a group comprised of first-place winners from association label competitions around the world including TLMI (North America), JFLP (Japanese Label Foundation), Finat and Latma (Australian Label Association). Label samples from each company were judged in a variety of categories to determine the finest printed labels in the world.

York Label won first place awards for ‘Excellence in Technical Achievement in Printing’ for Duckhorn Vineyard’s ‘Decoy’ and Diageo’s ‘Jade Mountain’ face labels. Both labels are produced in York’s Sonoma, California, facility.

‘Recognition by the World Label Association is welcome acknowledgement of the creativity and skill of our talented associates particularly in our Sonoma, California, facility. Our people are passionate about creating labels that allow our customers to enhance the image of their products in the retail market,’ said John McKernan, York Label’s president and CEO.
