Zecher targets global growth

Zecher has outlined its plans for future growth off the back of a successful 2017.

In 2017, Zecher expanded its production capacities in the area of laser engraving

Last year, the anilox roller manufacturer opened up in new markets worldwide and welcomed partners in 12 countries. Recent additions have included China and the US, where Zecher has formed a partnership with Daetwyler. These developments contributed to a six percent increase in orders in 2017.

For 2018, Zecher is striving for another increase in its order volume and will establish itself in new markets with the aid of the increased sales partner network, as well as win customers in additional countries.

To meet the increasing order volume as well as the growing demands of their customers, Zecher expanded its production capacities in the area of laser engraving. This included the installation of a new laser, as well as upgrading two existing laser engraving systems.

Interest in the Zecher SteppedHex engraving technology increase after its launch in 2016. Zecher expects further interest from various printing industries for this engraving technology. Successful projects have been completed with the likes of Heidelberg, Tresu and Christiansen Print.

Further, the Zecher Anilox Cleaner range has been introduced.

Thomas Reinking, Zecher sales manager, said: ‘With these product innovations we are reacting to the requests of many customers who want to set their Zecher anilox rollers up for a long life by using high-quality cleaning products.’
