Corona Supplies, based in Oxon, UK, will demonstrate at Labelexpo Europe a new corona power supply and compact universal corona station.

The new power supply, claimed energy efficient, incorporates IGBT switching devices, with auto-frequency impedance matching available in power outputs from 0.5kw to 3.0kw. Its efficiency over previous models is said to be demonstrated when older 2.0kw units are replaced with a new 1.5kw unit and treatment levels are improved.

A new compact cantilevered universal corona station will also be on show, available in all standard web widths, single sided or 2-sided treatment. ‘Now installation in any orientation, onto any brand of press, is even easier as a result of the smaller station foot-print,’ said the company in a statement.

A range of surface tension testing pens, including pre-filled, Jumbo, and Eco-Pen models, will be available to demonstrate corona treatment effectiveness on a wide range of filmic substrates.
