DFE to show tension control equipment at Labelexpo

Dover Flexo Electronics (DFE), a manufacturer of web tension control equipment, will show several new products at Labelexpo Americas on stand 1650.

In the TwinAmp Rackmount Dual Tension Amplifier, two isolated circuits in a single device are used to amplify and monitor the tension signals output from two transducer positions in the web path simultaneously, for connection to a PLC, or to drives or controllers.

The TwinAmp features DFE’s Quik-Cal push-button zero and calibration for fast setup, isolated 0-to-10 VDC and 4-20 mA tension signal outputs, and an easily accessible terminal strip for quick installation. The TwinAmp operates on 24 Vdc, 115 Vac or 230 Vac.

The new NW Narrow Web Tension Transducer will also be on display, a cantilevered narrow web tension-sensing idler roll with an optional built-in LED tension display and a 0-to-10VDC output. It is available in three standard roll diameters and a range of lengths.

The EasyView tension indicator is a space-saving tool that connects to a tension transducer or transducer pair and displays tension on a digital or analog display. It also puts out an isolated 0-to-10 Vdc web tension signal for use by a PLC, drive or other control electronics.

WebHandler3 tension controller is a closed-loop controller in a small, user-friendly package. It is available in a panel-mount version and the device delivers automatic, full-featured digital tension control.
