DNP launches new resin

DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation has introduced the V300 Versatility Defined Resin.

DNP launches new resin

V300 resin prints on substrates ranging from paper and polypropylene to PET. It images equally well on all types of laminates, varnishes, and top-coats.

This product is also capable of producing crisp, dark images at both low and high print speeds. V300 has the potential to increase the productivity of resin applications with the ability to print up to 50 percent faster than any other flat head resin, caims the company. The V300 can do all of this at reduced heat settings. This product is marketed for desktop printer models with smaller footprints.

This formulation provides superior mechanical durability (scratch and smudge), as well as resistance to alcohols like methanol and isopropanol (IPA).

With this range of drop-in capability, V300 is expected to eliminate time wasted adjusting printer settings and testing label compatibility. The resin performs regardless of top-coats, laminates, varnishes, or surface treatments.

V300 Versatility Defined Resin will be released in America and globally beginning mid-April 2019.
