Edale and Afga announce Ipex plans

Posted in New Products on April 27, 2010

UK press manufacturer Edale, in hall 6, stand D561 at Ipex, will offer visitors information on its full range of presses: the Alpha, Gamma, Lambda and new Alpha-Multi. In hall 11, stand CD220, Agfa will showcase its digital Dotrix Modular System, whose single pass inkjet color engine is integrated into Edale’s narrow and medium web flexo press design.

Agfa will also show Edale’s servo driven variable length sheet cutter. The new machine allows jumbo rolls of plain or pre-printed materials to be fed through and converted to sheets, delivering the end result into shingle or deep pile stacks. The adjustable machine allows sheets to be cut into variable lengths without changing the tooling. It is primarily designed to convert digitally printed web but can be run in-line with almost any web fed machinery, says the company.
