Electrometic Equipment launches compact linear strobe

Posted in New Products on April 06, 2009

Electrometic Equipment has launched its Checkline LS-5-12000 compact linear strobe, which can be mounted on any machinery that uses a strobe for visual inspection. This includes rewinders, slitters and similar process equipment in the label printing and process market, as well as vibration analyzers, balancers, metal producing equipment and more.

Its short flash duration (less than 5 s), combined with a super-bright, long life (200 million flashes) Xenon U-tube delivers brightness, sharpness and uniformity, based upon its compact size (6.0 “x 5.1” x 4.4" / 150 x 130 x 112 mm) and low cost.

The flash rate can be externally triggered by a sensor/controller on the process machine, using industry standard TTL-type square wave signal rates up 208 Hz and higher. Or, the LS-5-RCU remote controller can be optionally specified for this purpose. The CE certified, LS-5-12000 operates using 24V DC (15–28V DC). It can use power already available on the machine, or our worldwide AC-DC power adapter is optionally available.

The LS-5-12000 is suited to use on narrow web equipment up to 16 inches wide (400mm) and wider.
