ImTech introduces high resolution inkjet print controller

ImTech has introduced its Mark605 inkjet print controller, a high speed, high resolution and embeddable inkjet print controller supported by Hewlett-Packard disposable print cartridges.

The Mark605 has been designed to meet the needs of OEM's for faster, low maintenance, high performance print delivery and can be fully integrated with custom applications. ImTech president Bill Buskirk said: ‘We are confident that it will become the print technology of choice as manufacturers stretch to meet ever more challenging print applications.’

Versatility, claims ImTech, is the hallmark of the Mark605, due to its simple integration protocol. It provides access to macros for serialization, counting, date calculations, time offsets, timestamps and others, from custom applications.

Each Mark 605 supports two 0.5 inch printheads and may be grouped together to create user defined print heights. Preconfigured printhead arrays add to the ease of installation in industrial environments. The arrays eliminate power related printhead failures due to mishandling preserving uptime and increasing dependability.

The Mark605 delivers up to 600 X 600 dpi. With its user defined input/output lines, it allows upstream control from PLC's and signaling to external peripherals, minimizing the total installation footprint.
