FlexFold 52 has been designed with automatic set-up for fast changeovers from one job to the next, making it perfect for production of short runs of folding cartons.

Finishing Days 2014, taking place November 13-14 in Dresden, Germany, will also see HP Indigo present its 30000 digital press model for folding carton printing, fully equipped with in-line priming and in-line coating. Together, HP Indigo and Kama will present an ‘efficient end-to-end workflow solution for folding cartons on demand’ featuring the latest technologies for digital folding carton printing, true-to-register finishing, and in-line stripping and blanking without tools, plus seminars led by the likes of Esko and Marbach.

Further, the Finishing Days event will serve as a celebration of Kama’s 120th anniversary. Teodor Remus, who founded Scamag in 1894 (the predecessor of the modern Kama), revolutionized the production of cardboard boxes with the invention of the creasing line.
