Lake Image Systems, a supplier of vision control and verification systems, will introduce a new color web viewer on stand 5620 at Labelexpo Americas.

The new viewer – the Discovery Web Monitor – provides high definition viewing at web speeds in excess of 1,000 feet per minute, and is readily adapted to both the Lake Image Systems Discovery PQ and Discovery Multiscan inspection systems, as well as existing systems requiring better operator imaging.

Lake Image Systems’ vice president Pat Hoskins, said: ‘The new Lake Image Systems Discovery Web Monitor includes an intuitive touch screen interface, making it suitable for use by operators of every skill level. A picture-in-picture feature enables viewing of the entire web or user-defined sections for detailed inspection. Our Discovery Web Monitor is an excellent enhancement to existing equipment, particularly narrow web presses and rewinders.’

Lake Image Systems, headquartered in the UK, has manufacturing facilities in the UK and the US, and subsidiaries in France and Singapore.
