Mactac expands sheetfed options

Mactac has added Starliner Blinding White2 multi-purpose pressure-sensitive paper to its Starliner Digital line of sheetfed options. This new universal product enables merchants and printers to stock only one product to support a variety of print technologies.

‘As the sheetfed digital market continues to grow, merchants and printers continue to look for products that work on both newer digital equipment as well as conventional commercial presses,’ said Cathy Kimpton, marketing manager, Mactac Printing Products. ‘Blinding White2 fills that need and is able to print on three different sheetfed digital formats in addition to traditional offset presses including direct image presses.’

Starliner Blinding White2 features a very bright 60# white, uncoated smooth sheet optimized for digital and offset printing. It is certified for both HP Indigo sheetfed presses including HP5000/5500 and HP7000/7500 presses and Kodak NexPress. It also prints on direct image presses and standard offset presses using standard offset inks.

Starliner Blinding White2 is suitable for applications such as promotions and point-of-purchase displays as well as shipping and inventory labels that require a bright white litho pressure sensitive for sheetfed digital production sized presses.
