Manter, part of the Fedrigoni Group, has launched a range of self-adhesive label substrates certified for use on Xeikon digital presses.

Filip Weymans, business development manager, labels and packaging, Xeikon, said: ‘We are excited about our partnership with Manter. With this collaboration, we now have a range of finest quality self-adhesive label substrates that will help us in addressing the need of the wine and beverage markets. During Labelexpo Americas 2010, we will run specific Manter substrates on the Xeikon 3500 at our booth [6135] so that all the attendees can witness the quality of the output first-hand.’

Pere Espelt, commercial manager at Manter, commented: ‘Xeikon quality, with its 1200 dpi imaging resolution, really makes the labels stand out and corresponds very well with the demands of end users in the wine and beverage markets.’

The Xeikon 3500, launched at Ipex 2010, can handle scalable media widths from 9.8 inches up to 20.3 inches, a significant size increase that allows label converters to digitally address a wider range of applications with 1200 dpi imaging quality.

Founded in 1944, Manter, based in Girona, Spain, specializes in premium self-adhesive materials for the label sector.
