Posted in New Products on June 01, 2010

The new Ion Power HL-Type static neutralization system from MKS Ion Industrial is designed for long-range static neutralization in printing and coating hazardous locations while integrating with existing industrial networks using several fieldbus protocols. The new 8155 Power Modules connect with the 8300 Communicator modules through a two-wire RS-485 bus to transfer real-time data on the neutralizer status, system diagnostics and static control performance. The new Ion Power HL-Type neutralizers can effectively control static charges over a range of eight inches and at web speeds of over 2,000 fpm.

MKS Ion Industrial’s 8001HL neutralizing bars are approved for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2 and Group D areas and feature tungsten electrodes for maximum longevity and ion output. The HL Termination Box simplifies high-voltage wiring inside the classified areas.
