Rhyguan unveils new digital finishing system

The system includes rotogravure printing and coating units, with six meters or more drying length, and speeds of up to 120m/min. The rotogravure coating unit can be used for adhesive coating, reverse printing of labels, counterfeit labels, over-laminating and tape making, as well as surface coating, such as top coating for HP digital printing, top coating for UV printable ink, color coating including reflective inks, fluorescent inks and matte coating.

‘This machine, now available to international customers, can provide cost-efficient digital finishing. For example, it allows the converters to coat and laminate after printing, which can reduce the cost of adhesive materials,’ explained Alvin Cai, general manager of Rhyguan Machinery. ‘It can work together with our other units such as our servo foiling system, semi- or full-rotary die-cutter and slitter. All the processes are designed to improve quality and reduce waste.’

‘It’s the third time we participate in Labelexpo Europe, and we have received quite a few customers and potential buyers. We will expand our booth area by at least 50 percent at Labelexpo Europe 2019.’
