Spinnaker Coating adds to tamper-evident product line

Posted in New Products on November 05, 2009

Spinnaker Coating has added a new product to its SafeTE line of tamper-evident constructions. White Void Polyester is a film engineered to show tamper evidence by leaving the word ‘VOID’ in a diagonal pattern on the substrate and label when removed. It is claimed to have excellent tear strength, chemical resistance and heat resistance.

This material is paired with SFA, an acrylic adhesive specifically designed for film facestocks. It reportedly offers high ultimate adhesion to a variety of substrates. Void polyester can be printed by thermal transfer and flexo.. Typical applications include warranty labels, door/packaging seals, calibration stickers and pharmaceutical products.
