UPM Raflatac introduces thin paper and film products

Posted in New Products on September 29, 2009

UPM Raflatac presented a new range of thin paper and film products at Labelexpo Europe 2009. The Thin Range comprises ten thinner labelstocks which provide the opportunity to switch to longer roll lengths for fewer roll changes and more labels per roll.

The Thin Range offers combinations with a new PP30 liner for major applications such as food, retail and logistics. Available with a range of paper faces, PP30 is claimed to bring the advantages of a thin film liner to high-volume paper applications.

For beverage and personal care labeling, the Thin Range offers a PET25 liner in place of a standard paper liner with PE and PP faces. The Thin Range also features a selection of thinner Lite paper faces coupled with a thin Honey Glassine 50 liner.
