Posted in New Products on April 13, 2010

UPM Raflatac has introduced a single adhesive to cover the majority of pharmaceutical labeling applications using filmic faces. RC 3P is claimed to offer high clarity for clear-on-clear labeling combined with good mandrel hold for optimal labeling on small-diameter test tubes, syringes, ampoules.

In addition to excellent adhesion on glass and HDPE, this UV hotmelt adhesive has good resistance to water and chemicals, says the company. High temperature tolerance also makes RC 3P suitable for autoclave sterilization. It is available with a number of UPM Raflatac’s film faces as well as PET and HD liners.
