UPM Raflatac has launched a high-tack adhesive, called RD 932, which is claimed to have excellent heat, chemical and UV resistance for lasting adhesion in a variety of challenging conditions.

The company says that the new adhesive offers excellent performance on rough surfaces like cast metals, textured plastics and powder-coated surfaces, as well as low surface energy plastics like PE.

Available with the durable Gloss White, Matt White and Matt Silver PET faces, RD 932 is suited to labeling cast mechanical components and motors, domestic and industrial machines and appliances and numerous other durables applications.

RD 932 has been given UL approval with the three PET face materials. Details of these and other UL-approved UPM Raflatac face-adhesive combinations are published on UL’s online certifications directory.
