UPM Raflatac unveils facestocks for premium labeling

Posted in New Products on April 19, 2010

UPM Raflatac has introduced two paper facestocks for premium labeling. The new Opaline WSA and the renewed Castgloss WSA materials are aimed at premium quality label applications for wines, champagnes and spirits, as well as finer foods and cosmetics. They are both WSA treated and suitable for beverage labeling where wash-off properties are required.

As a new member of UPM Raflatac's wine range, Opaline WSA provides a pearlescent sheen which gives the label a shimmering effect. The new Castgloss WSA has a consistently smooth surface that delivers cloud-free gloss across the printed label, with its whiteness and opacity allowing maximum contrast.
