Bunting Magnetics names new chief financial officer

Jana L. Davis has joined Bunting Magnetics as chief financial officer (CFO). Davis will be responsible for all the financial operations for both Bunting Magnetics and its wholly owned subsidiary, Magnet Applications Group.

‘Jana will strengthen our company in many ways,’ stated Robert J. Bunting, the company’s owner and chief executive officer. ‘First, her financial acumen is ideal for us as we continue to grow and expand internationally. Second, she has a wide range of experience from strategic planning to human resource and information technology management which will be instrumental for us in the next few years. Finally, she has the ability to identify and implement solutions which will help us operate more efficiently.’

Davis has over 19 years of experience in business and financial management in the aerospace, printing, media and manufacturing industries. She graduated from Wichita State University as a Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of business administration and a Bachelor of arts in psychology. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified management accountant (CMA). Previously, Davis was the CFO for McCormick-Armstrong, a printing company, located in Wichita, Kansas.

‘I am excited about joining Bunting,’ Davis said. ‘The strategic approach they take in planning the company’s direction is an area that caught my focus. I think that the industries that we serve and the products we offer are a perfect combination for sustained and aggressive growth over the next 10-20 years.’
