Description:
This latest 'How to' book once again brings together the combined knowledge and expertise of some of the world's leading experts to provide a comprehensive guide to understanding how digital label printing technologies work – whether electrophotographic, toner or inkjet – as well as the enhanced requirements that digital printing brings to color management, origination and pre-press, the new demands made on label substrates, the finishing solutions available, and how converters should look to manage and market the digital label printing operation.
Re-written and edited from the speaker presentations at the Digital Label Summit held in Barcelona in March 2009, this 'How to' book is comprehensively illustrated with around 80 diagrams, charts, tables and illustrations and aims to provide a convenient reference source for label converters that are both looking to invest in digital label printing, or have already been operating digital presses for some time but would like to understand the experiences of other printers and industry experts.
It is hoped that the detailed text and illustrations will encourage more label converters to invest in digital printing technologies, solutions and applications so as to meet the rapid global rise and demand for digital printing capabilities (currently increasing by 36% year on year) as well as encourage the label industry as a whole to embrace the exciting new world of digital label printing.
