Brand managers speak out on digital package design and production

On April 27, CPC brand owners, designers, production and procurement professionals learned about full-scale digital manufacturing for PS labels, flexible packaging and more at the Follow Possible Package Printing Forum presented by HP and hosted by Innovative Labeling Solutions (ILS) in Hamilton, Ohio. Labels & Labeling offers this exclusive video interview with Dan Theiss, Procter & Gamble and Jaye Johnson, Artico.

Former Procter & Gamble executive and current CPG consultant Mike Ferrari spoke about CPGs’ packaging needs and the ways digital printing can address them. The event featured ILS’s three HP Indigo WS6000 production lines producing pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging and other products at full-color speeds up to 98 feet per minute.

The presses were shown in complete in-line and near-line finishing workflows, including the first-ever public display of a Delta Industrial finishing solution installed in-line with an HP Indigo press.
