Monotech Systems installs first HGDE UV CtP

Charu Graphics is one of the biggest pre-press houses in India that offers services in offset as well as digital printing. Sunil Chouhan, owner of Charu Graphics, said: ‘We setup the first image setter in 2001 and after that in 2008 we bought a BasysPrint UV CtP, installed by Monotech Systems. We have a plate production rate of more than 1,000 plates per day.

‘We were looking for a reliable and cost effective solution to increase our plate production due to high demand. The HGDE has filled our expectation and we are processing approximately 400 to 500 plates every day through this machine. With this extended production line, we expect a growth of approximately 50 percent in our business.’

The HGDE UV CtP is a new concept in India that includes features such as auto-focus adjustment, horizontal loading with continuous processing, dynamic balancing adjustment system, high power laser diode, original system of adjustment of edge plate, HGDE unique technology of separation of paper and plate for quick and stable plate production.

Tejinder Singh, DGM, pre-press at Monotech Systems, said: ‘The HGDE UV CtP has been introduced by us to the Indian market for customers looking for an economic and reliable UV CtP system. We already have successfully introduced BasysPrint and Amsky in the Indian market and enjoy a good installation base of more than 300 machines. Now this is an additional product line that complements our UV CtP product portfolio.’
