Confidex, designer and manufacturer of RFID inlays, has announced that BlueStar, a distributor of auto ID, point-of-sale, mobility and RFID products, will now carry the Confidex family of UHF Gen2 RFID hard tags and specialty labels for asset tracking.

‘Implementing passive UHF RFID technology for asset management delivers exceptional benefits such as reduced property loss, increased security, improved audit controls, more accurate information on the movement and condition of assets, and as a result, significant cost savings,’ said Bill Compitello, Confidex sales and business development director for the Americas. ‘We are pleased to enable BlueStar to offer the Confidex product line as a vital part of their Asset Tracking solutions.’

The Confidex product line of hard tags includes Confidex Ironside, Confidex Survivor, Confidex Steelwave, Confidex Steelwave Micro, and Confidex Halo.

The Steelwave Micro, Confidex’s most recent tag addition, ‘provides the superior mount on metal performance required by most server, laptop, and PC tracking applications,’ stated Dan Miller, BlueStar’s RFID program manager. ‘BlueStar is delighted to add the Confidex product to our industry-leading line of RFID tags and labels.’

Completing the family of Confidex RFID products, the specialty labels, are Confidex Carrier, Confidex Casey, Confidex Corona, Confidex Cruiser and Confidex Pino.
